Live and Let Dine was created as a way to preserve for my family the recipes, lessons and techniques I learned in my over four decades in kitchens nationwide. Intended for the home cook, we will work our way from basics and fundamentals through classics and heirloom recipes that will become food memories for your family.

So you want to be a line cook? Drawing from over 40 years in professional kitchens we will walk through each quality that makes up a proper line cook. Starting with your job responsibilities, safety, food storage, temperatures and prep sheets then working our way through the fundamentals of each station.

We have huge amount of products we have tested over our time in the kitchen. From a myriad of Chefs knives to pots, pans and induction cook-tops. You will not see many un-boxing videos on our channel. We take every item we review for a complete and thorough testing regimen that can at times take months to evaluate.

A weekly live cooking show where we give basic lessons and make recipes from the book while we discuss food and garden related topics, cooking tips and the seasonal farm to table lifestyle.

We will visit restaurants and make a “Family Meal” for the staff while we take some time to get to know the people who work in the kitchens of some of the cities top restaurants .

We have been gardening in one form or another in our family for generations. What today may seem a hobby to most was practiced by nearly every family two generations ago. Here we learn to grow what we eat to ensure we always eat well !.

We venture out into the late night establishments of the countries largest cities to see what they offer the after hours crowd. From bars and restaurants to street vendors and food trucks.
