INGREDIENTS
Artisan Bun
¼ Lb. Beef Patty
2 slices Colby Jack Cheese
2 Pieces Pre Cooked Thick Cut Bacon
Barbecue Sauce (as preferred)
¼ cup Breaded Fried Onions (or 2
onion rings)
Cowboy Burger
An Old School Burger Classic !
Place the burger patty on the grill and season with salt and pepper. Cook the burgers for 3 minutes then give them a quarter turn. Cook for
another 3-4 minutes or until “happy pools” of juice have collected on the top. Flip the burgers, season with salt and pepper and continue to
cook until your desired doneness.
To serve: Butter a bun with clarified butter and griddle till golden brown. Add some sauce to the bottom of bun then add the patty topped
with melted cheese. Add 2 slices of bacon and fried onions or two onion rings, then top with more sauce. Feel free to add your own
additional toppings. Feel free to be creative. We toppings like jalapeños, caramelized onions and bacon jam.
